The Spark — 1987
One mom’s frustrating camp search sparked a big idea. In 1987, Joanne Paltrowitz founded The Camp Experts so every parent could get straight answers about summer camps without all the guesswork. Her passion for helping families started a legacy.
The Next Chapter — 2010-2015
In today’s world, families increasingly wanted more than just summer advice, but holistic advice as part of their kids’ educational journey. Drawing on decades of success with Camp Experts, we have become a member of the British Boarding School Network in 2019, and launched School Experts to guide families through year-round educational choices in 2025. From finding the right boarding school or academic program to navigating internships and gap years, we carry Joanne’s mission into the future of education.
